This  eyecatching one of a kind  Rainbow  Kyanite  ( or Dichroic) Pendant is set in Sterling Silver, approximate size is 17mm at widest part  x 66mm long including bale for chain. It is a  fan-shaped rough Black Kyanite, a natural stone  which has been specially treated in a process much like gold-plating. The process involves depositing thin layers of metallic oxides such as Titanium, Silicon and Magnesium onto the surface of the Kyanite by an electron beam  in a high temperature, vacuum furnace. The result is a permanent colouring of the surface of the Kyanite creating a dazzling effect with the many blades of the stones catching and reflecting light in all directions creating a shimmering array of iridescent colours. This pendant is brilliant  gold, green and magenta.

These specially treated stones combine the energies of the Black Kyanite with the high vibrational energies of the metallic oxides.
