Amethyst Egg

Amethyst Egg from Madagascar has lovely rich  colour,  good clarity and a few surface scratches, approximate size 45mm diameter x 66mm long.   

Amethyst is a stone of spiritual protection and purification. It stimulates the crown chakra and is very beneficial to the mind, calming or stimulating as approprite. As an aid to meditation, it helps  one to still one's thoughts and move into higher states of consciousness. Mentally, it calms and synthesises, enhances memory and improves motivation.
